The London Thames Gateway Development Corporation (LTGDC) and The LDA to grant fund the extension of Olympic Park District Heating Network (OPDHN)

This will enable developments in the vicinity of the Olympic Park to benefit from low carbon assets being initiated on the Olympic site and future proof a connection to the LTGHN. The LTGDC and LDA are supporting a project to extend the OPDHN into the Stratford Fridge area. Through the extension being made 20MW of low carbon heat will be made available to the Stratford High Street area where it can be used in new/existing properties. Other parties involved in the project include Gensis Housing and Cofely, concessionaire for the Olympic Park.
